Liam Livingstone is a T20 cricketer built in the lab - a ferocious power-hitter against both pace and spin, and a useful spinner who can bowl both off-spin and wrist-spin. He began his TATA IPL journey for RR in 2019, however, opportunities were limited in initial years. Livingstone then smashed a 42-ball hundred for England, their fastest at the time and his stocks boomed exponentially. Livingstone bagged an INR 11.5 Crore contract from Punjab Kings for the 2022 season and hammered 437 runs across 14 games, striking at 182.08. Later that year, he was part of England’s T20 World Cup-winning squad in Australia. Livingstone has been ranked the number one T20I all-rounder on ICC rankings twice - in 2021 and 2024. He was part of RCB’s winning squad in 2025 and in the 2026 TATA IPL Auction, SRH produced a winning bid of INR 13 Crore to sign him, defeating KKR and LSG in the bidding process.
